 Zardab district of Azerbaijan Republic

 The Zardab district of the Azerbaijan Republic is located on the left bank of the Kura river. The territory of the district covers the central territories of Azerbaijan. The center of city is Zardab district. The name of the city is found in the documents of the 19th century as the village of Zardab. The administrative-territorial unit was formed in 1935. In 1962 it was abolished as a district. By 1965 he was part of the Ujar region. In 1065 district status was restored. In 1968, it officially got the status of a city.

Climate

 In this area semi-desert and dry desert climate is characteristic (this climate is also called dry subtropical climate).This climate is characterized by low moisture, hot spring heat. In summer, the air temperature is 35-40 Celsius. The absolute maximum temperature rises to 41-44 Celsius. The average monthly air temperature is +3 Celsius in January and +27 Celsius in July.
